has been used for many years as a means to treat common respiratory
infections such as the common cold or the flu. As strange as some
remedies sound, there have been numerous scientific studies which have
proved the effectiveness of home remedies. One such remedy involved
drinking willow bark tea to cure headaches and fevers, it was later
discovered that the willow bark contained a form of acetylsalicylic
acid - now more commonly known as aspirin.
